Team Building: Corporate ReStore Day
A ReStore Team Day is a one-of-a-kind employee engagement opportunity that offers the chance to invest in your employees while making a tangible difference in the lives of local families. Team members will spend a memorable day at one of our Habitat Greater Ottawa ReStore locations. As a local social enterprise retailer, all profits from our operations fund Habitat Greater Ottawa in helping more families access safe and decent housing.
ReStore Days are ideal for corporate teams of 5-10 who are looking to support their community in a meaningful way, while learning new skills. Together, your team will connect with their fellow colleagues in a unique and impactful way and leave proud of their accomplishments, their colleagues, and their organization.
What happens during a ReStore Day?
Your team will assist local Habitat for Humanity ReStore locations with major renovation projects as well as tasks like merchandising, organizing, and customer service to support affordable housing initiatives.
What is included in a ReStore Day?
Habitat Greater Ottawa will provide your team with:
- Safety training & all tools and safety equipment provided
- Habitat t-shirt and commemorative team photo
- Catered lunch and refreshments
- Recognition on social media and Habitat’s website

What is a ReStore?
The ReStore sells new and gently used items at deeply discounted prices (with no HST), and every dollar spent helps fund safe and affordable homeownership through Habitat for Humanity Greater Ottawa.
During their ReStore Day, your team members will spend a memorable day at one of our three Habitat Greater Ottawa ReStore locations working on a meaningful project on-site.
