Celebrating 30 years in the Ottawa community!

Since 1993, we’ve partnered with the community, volunteers and partner families to build homes in the Greater Ottawa Area.

TitusLanding

Titus Landing Build - 2022

After some starts and stops due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Titus Landing was completed in late spring 2022!

Titus Landing is an 8-unit stacked townhome development centrally located on the former Canadian Forces Rockcliffe Airbase, in a growing neighbourhood close to amenities such as transit, and parks and schools.

Leacross Landing Build - 2017 - 2021

In 2021, Habitat Greater Ottawa completed it’s largest build to date!

Leacross Landing is a 16-unit townhome development in Orléans. It is located at the southeast intersection of Jeanne d’Arc Boulevard and Fortune Drive, north of Highway 174.

We first broke ground at Leacross Landing in May 2017 with the construction of the first eight townhomes. The final eight townhomes were completed late winter 2021.

Perth Build - 2017

Construction was completed in Perth on a single-family home in partnership with our Perth Chapter and the Advanced Carpentry program at Algonquin College’s Perth Campus. Carleton Place Build - 2017

Construction is now complete on our Carleton Place build on Crampton Dr., which is in partnership with our new Carleton Place Chapter. Thank you to everyone who joined on March 23 to celebrate with our new Habitat homeowners, Shane and Laura Michaelis and their five children. Cousineau Street Build - 2015-2016

Thank you to everyone who helped make our four homes at Cousineau St. in Orleans a reality in 2015-2016. We are incredibly thankful for all of our sponsors, volunteers, donors, tradespeople and suppliers. We celebrated our Partner Families as they became first-time homeowners during the Key Ceremony in July 2016. Indigenous Build 2015 in Partnership with PCL

Thank you to everyone at PCL Constructors Ottawa district for completing construction on our Indigenous Build on Eve Street in the fall of 2015. The single-family home was purchased by Barb Wolfe and her daughters in October 2015. Nantes Street Build Phase II - 2014

Habitat Greater Ottawa successfully completed construction on four homes on Nantes Street in Orleans, beside the site of the 2013 Builds (below). The two semi-detached houses were purchased by four families with a combined 15 children. Nantes Street Build Phase II - 2014

Habitat Greater Ottawa completed three homes on Nantes Street in Orléans in 2013.

Along with celebrating its 20th anniversary in 2013, Habitat Greater Ottawa was proud to build three homes on Nantes Street in Orléans, which included one of the first urban Indigenous Builds in the province. The home was purchased by Ida Kakekagumick who is an Ojibwa-Cree from Northern Ontario with legal custody of her three grandchildren. The other two homes were purchased by a single mom and her two children and the Caceres, a family of six. The Dedication Ceremony for the Caceres family’s new home on Nantes Street took place in October 2013.
