Our ReStores accept new and gently used renovation and building materials, and home décor items from retailers, manufacturers, contractors, renovators and the general public.
Donations are welcome at all locations during our regular business hours.

Become a Hope Builder
Hope Builders help us build strength, stability and self-reliance for local families one month at a time. Your generous gift of $20 a month – or any amount you can afford – will provide us with ongoing support for our builds and ensures that we can continue to help the greatest number of families in the shortest amount of time.

Gifts of Securities
Publicly traded securities (eg. shares, bonds, mutual funds) can be donated as an alternative to cash. These gifts are exempt from any capital gains tax with the tax receipt reflecting the full market value of the gift on the day of transfer.
Workplace Giving
Workplace giving is an easy and effective way for companies and their employees to support Habitat Greater Ottawa. Direct your dollars to Habitat Greater Ottawa (legal name: Habitat for Humanity National Capital Region) through campaigns like United Way, GCWCC or Benevity. Your employer can also set up payroll deduction, workplace matching or host workplace fundraising event with us.
Host an Event
Hosting a fundraising event is a fun and engaging way to spread awareness of our work in the community.
From golf tournaments to bake sales to casino nights to bowl-a-thons, no fundraiser is too small or too big! 100% of the funds you raise will go directly to building more homes for more local families in our community.
