Bringing together the Military community in support of local families
Habitat Greater Ottawa’s Military Build program encourages Canadian veterans, active duty military members and reserve members volunteer and share in a unique experience while helping a local family find strength, stability and self-reliance through affordable home ownership.
On Friday November 8, 2019, Canadian veterans took the time to assist those building homes on the Habitat for Humanity Greater Ottawa build site. The third annual Veteran Build Day is sponsored by Lockheed Martin Canada.
The Habitat Greater Ottawa Military Build Program encourages veterans and other military members to volunteer and assist those building their next home through Habitat for Humanity. It is an opportunity to share a special experience and help a local family establish themselves as homeowners.
