North Grenville Development
Habitat for Humanity Greater Ottawa will break ground on its next build in North Grenville, Ontario in partnership with Habitat for Humanity Thousand Islands in the late fall of 2021. This 15-unit development consists of townhomes and stacked townhomes with accessible units available. This new build is located in an established community near parks, schools, stores and the district hospital. Once complete, the project will support up to 64 individuals including over 30 children.
PLEASE NOTE: Homeownership applications for the North Grenville Development will open spring 2021.
Currently, we are accepting applications for an accessible unit at our Titus Landing development at Wateridge Village. If you are interested please fill out the Pre-Qualification Questionnaire. There are currently no standard units available at the Titus Landing development.

- Located on Concession Road across from the Kemptville District Hospital and near Kemptville Area Family Resource Centre, local schools, Riverside Park and other amenities
- 15-unit development comprising of six conventional townhomes and six stacked townhomes above three accessible barrier-free units on the ground floor
- Construction slated for fall 2021 with six homes to be completed in 2022 and nine homes ready in 2023
- All homes will access either a private balcony or yard
- Parking available for all units
- All units will be either 3 or 4-bedroom
The North Grenville Development will include three accessible barrier-free units located on the ground floor. Accessible outdoor parking and barrier-free access leading to the entries will enable those with mobility issues to safely access the home.
Accessible housing can work for everyone, including those with physical disabilities. It also allows people to stay in their homes as their circumstances change, without expensive renovations. The North Grenville Development accessible units will feature wider door frames, open turning spaces within rooms, easy-to grab handle levers and light switches, a wheel-in shower stall and kitchen work surfaces with knee space below and adjustable storage spaces above.
Note: Families interested in the accessible units must qualify under Habitat Greater Ottawa’s Eligibility Criteria. We recognize the diversity of people with disabilities and will work with interested families on a case-by-case basis to ensure Habitat’s current accessible units adequately meet the needs of your family.

Mac Street Development
Habitat Greater Ottawa’s next development will be on Mac Street in the south-east end of Ottawa with plans to break ground in 2023. This 14-unit development consists of townhomes and stacked townhomes located in the south east end of Ottawa. This new build is located in an established community near transit, parks, community centers, the Ottawa airport, work and stores. Once complete, the project will support up to 42 individuals including up to 20 children.

- 14 units including five townhomes, six stacked townhomes and three accessible units
- Outdoor parking provided
- All units will be either 3 or 4 bedroom
Habitat build locations, housing types, homeownership criteria and mortgage models differ depending on the development. As a result, we are updating our application process. Please check back for details on these changes as they become available.
