Learn the History of Habitat for Humanity Greater Ottawa (Habitat GO).
Since 1993, Habitat GO (formerly known as Habitat National Capital Region), has served 72 families in the Greater Ottawa area, which include over 175 children.
In 2017, we completed construction on a single-family home in Carleton Place and another single-family home in Perth, in partnership with Algonquin College's Advanced Housing - Carpentry program. We also broke ground on the Phase 1 block of townhomes at our largest development to date, Leacross Landing. This development will total 16 townhomes when completed. We plan to break ground on Phase 2 in spring 2018, and deliver the Phase 1 homes to their owners at the same time.
