Spring is here! You know what that means: time to de-clutter and get organized! When you’re doing your annual spring clean-up, consider donating to Habitat for Humanity Greater Ottawa’s donation drive. Throughout the month of May, we ask that you remember us when discarding old furniture and other home items you have no use for.
While it may seem like an easy solution, throwing away your old household items and furniture can be quite problematic. Landfills are overflowing with waste!!
There are many ways to make environmentally conscious descisions when cleaning out and de-cluttering your home. So why not participate in one that donates to local families searching for a hand-up in home ownership? A donation to Habitat is a donation to your community.
We accept new and gently used renovation and building materials, and home decor items from retailers, manufacturers, contractors, renovators and the general public. Donations are welcome at all locations during our regular business hours. If your item is too large, we can arrange to pick it up! For more information about our ReStore, click here.
