Habitat GO is helping families in Greater Ottawa to build a better life through affordable homeownership.
A Habitat home is a stabilizing force for a family. Better, affordable living conditions lead to improved health, stronger childhood development and the ability — and financial flexibility — to make forward-looking choices..
Applying for a Habitat GO Home is Easy!
Simply follow these four steps:
- Complete our Online Homeownership Information Session
Please watch this video courtesy of Habitat Edmonton office that explains our Homeownership Program
- Download and fill out the application form
Once you have watched the Online Information Session, download and print either the English Application Form or French Application Form. Remember to save the Application Form on your computer in case you need to print copies. For more information about the applications and eligibility, please contact us.
- Ensure you meet and can maintain the eligibility criteria during the selection process
- Return the application form
a) Bring or mail the completed application form to the Habitat GO office at 768 Belfast Road, Ottawa, before the deadline. We recommend that you submit your application as soon as possible so that it can be processed.
b) Along with the application form, some supporting documents will be required, e.g., pay stubs, proof of citizenship, tax returns and letters of reference. A report on your credit history may be obtained by Habitat GO. Do not hesitate to ask a friend, a family member, or someone you trust for help.
