Join a team of like-minded Canadians to help a family achieve their dream of a safe and affordable home of their own, while also experiencing a bit of life in our Nation’s capital. Construction experience is not necessary – just a spirit of adventure, willingness to work hard and a sense of humour.
Since 1993, Habitat for Humanity Greater Ottawa (Habitat GO) has served 72 families. Our largest project to-date is Leacross Landing – a 16-townhouse development in the eastern suburb of Orleans. Phase 1 of this project began with four townhouses and our team will be working on one or more of the townhouses yet to be completed.

Participants will need to arrange and pay for round-trip air transportation from their point of departure to Ottawa. Flight arrangements must be made in consultation with the team leader.
*Habitat for Humanity Canada will issue a charitable donation tax receipt for the trip cost and the eligible airfare – these will be 2 separate receipts.
